CBD oils have a relaxing and calming quality through their effects on the nervous system. Many people use this calming action to relieve chronic stress and anxiety. We derive all of our CBD products from raw hemp flowers. Hemp is defined as any Cannabis sativa plant that produces less than 0.3% THC. This means our products are completely non-psychoactive. The hemp we use was grown organically and comes primarily from the state of California. A few of the farms we source from are located in Washington state as well. We look for farms that opt for organic farming, use sustainable methods, and are located in regions with clean, fertile soil. We also carefully consider the strain selection used by our farms.

Everybody is different, so the benefits of CBD oil may vary from person to person. However, the most common benefits of hemp-derived CBD oil are associated with physical relaxation, better reaction to stress, improved focus, regulation of sleep cycles, and a general sense of calmness. We’re one of the few companies in the United States that maintain full control over the manufacturing process of our oils. Most companies source pre-made CBD oil, which is then filled into branded bottles. There’s no control over the integrity of the oil, and most companies don’t even know how their oil was made or what the state of the raw hemp used to make it was. Our oils are all made in-house. We visually inspect all the hemp before it’s extracted, and we’re able to maintain full control over every step of the process. It’s because of this control that we’re able to guarantee the quality of our oils. The extraction method we employ is called supercritical CO2 — which allows us to avoid the use of organic solvents (which are toxic).

There are two main types of CBD oil — full-spectrum and isolate. An isolate contains just one active ingredient — CBD — while full-spectrum oils contain the entire range of phytochemicals produced by the hemp plant. There are dozens of compounds in full-spectrum products that work together to produce a greater level of effects. This concept is referred to as the entourage effect. Most experts agree full-spectrum oils are stronger, more versatile in their effects, and offer a much greater level of relief overall.

We offer our oils in four different potencies — 250 mg, 500 mg, 1000 mg, and 2500 mg per 1 oz (30 mL) bottle. This works out to a potency of 8, 16, 32, and 83 mg of CBD per mL of oil. One full dropper (30 drops) contains exactly 1 mL of oil.

To use CBD oil, squeeze the black top on the included dropper and allow it to suck up some oil from the bottle. One pump is equal to 1 mL of oil. Squeeze the oil directly into your mouth and hold it under your tongue for a few seconds to allow it to absorb more quickly (onset of effects is about 15 minutes). You can also swallow the oil directly or add it to a smoothie or shake to mask the taste.
